Lacoste's Elysee Prize Keeps Photography Alive at Art Basel Miami

We were saddened by the news that this year's Photo Miami art fair was being canceled and then worried a domino effect would take place. Fortunately the remaining 22 satellite fairs at Art Basel Miami 2010 haven't had problems.

LACOSTE has picked up some of the photo slack with their Elysee Prize 2010. The twelve international nominees were chosen from 80 photographers exhibiting at "reGeneration 2: Tomorrow's Photographers Today" and the winner will be announced tomorrow, December 3, at a reception at the Delano hotel.

The $20,000 prize is sponsored by LACOSTE in a partnership with the Musee de l'Elysee and is dedicated to young photographers.
